Hussain Abbasi is the Head of Technology at ChaiOne. He is a content-creator, blogger, speaker, streamer, and software engineer with over a decade of experience developing mobile, web, cloud, and desktop applications.

Matt Eland

After several decades as a software engineer and engineering manager, Matt now serves as a software engineering instructor at Tech Elevator where he gets to raise up future developers and unleash them upon the world to build awesome things.

Matt is an Azure Data Scientist Associate, a current organizer for the Central Ohio .NET Developer Group, runs a data science blog and YouTube channel, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in data analytics.

In his copious amounts of spare time, Matt continues to build nerdy things and looks for ways to share them with the community.

Jordan Thayer

I'm excited to teach you about artificial intelligence and to help you use it to tackle some of the problems you face today.

At SEP I'm working to establish our artificial intelligence practice. My responsibilities include educating clients and peers about what AI can do, identifying complex problems AI can address in whole or in part, and incorporating AI into software products that make a difference for their users.

Prior to joining SEP, I've held roles as a research scientist for a startup, the Charles-Stark Draper Laboratory, and an R&D consultancy. In each of these positions, I've done essentially the same thing: find and deliver feasible solutions to technically challenging problems that arise in a wide variety of domains and industries.

I completed my PhD in artificial intelligence at the University of New Hampshire in 2012. My research focused on using approximation and machine learning to solve problems known to be computationally intractable, such as automated planning and scheduling problems.

Jacob considers himself a 2x4 software architect (feel free to ask him what that means) who has a variety of technology experiences. He has spent his 11 years of experience in all facets of the development stack, the majority in mobile and server side. His current role as Software Architect, at Sweetwater Sound, provides him with the oppurtunity to explore new ways and technologies to modernize and scale their internal software systems.

After the first project of making a terminal chutes and ladders game Alex immediately switched majors. Since switching majors, Alex has never looked back.
